I do love the summer with the promise of longer evening and lazy impromptu lunches in the garden, but I am equally at home in winter when I am curled up on the sofa by a roaring fire.
After a back breaking day in the garden during the winter months nothing beats a nice cup of tea, meanwhile in the summer there's nothing nicer than a long and refreshing non-alcoholic drink as a thirst quencher which is why I am very excited as I have just found Qcumber which is a refreshing blend of natural cucumber and gently sparkling water.
The source of the spring water lies in the old county of Radnorshire in Mid Wales. In this unspoilt rural area, the water is able to filter naturally through layers of rock to achieve its exceptional taste and purity. The cucumber is natural pure cucumber distillate giving Qcumber its distinctive flavour.
Great on their own or equally at home as a mixer, use the Original or Mint for Gin, Vodka or Pimms, whilst the Spicy Ginger is ideal for Whisky or Ginger Wine.
For a non-alcoholic drink add in San Pellegrino Limonata, crushed ice, mint and cucumber to a jug of Qcumber and enjoy - but beware it's moreish!
Happy days!
